I asked my yr 1-2 ( 7-8yrs) scripture class this morning about halloween, what is it about?
"It's when we celebrate the devil" was a very serious response from one little girl. (sigh!!!)
I just don't get halloween?!!!!
All Hallows Eve ....ahh yes...we just had a discussion on this very topic with our parish priest. At a first communion and confirmation meeting last night he was telling the kids about All Saints Day and its relationship to Halloween. Max came home thinking Halloween was a lot like Easter....well there is a lot of chocolate and candy at both! Ugghh ... visualize me with my head in my hands!!!!
