We Are Sew Excited......

I'm really enjoying this sewing toys caper. I've finally put eyes on the cats. The purple cat is "Priscilla" and the blue cat is "Bob". I am looking forward to putting a face on "Angelica" the angel. I used a pattern for this one. Here is the link if you want to have a look: http://pinoyinoz.blogspot.com/2008/09/more-free-stuff.html

Toy Drop

I'm very excited and a bit nervous. Actually I dont know why I'm nervous cos I'm not actually doing the drop. Two of my girlfriends said they wld love to leave some toys somewhere. So as a little team I've done the sewing, one girlfriend is taking 3 toys to Westmead Children's Hospital & and the other girlfriend friend is taking 3 toys to Sutherland Hospital. I wonder if any one will contact the Toy Society after the rescues. http://www.flickr.com/groups/774666@N20/ The link is to the pics of the toys that will be dropped.

Sew Can You Guess?

I'm thinking I'll hve to change this in to a sewing blog, NOT!!!!!!
So can u guess what these critters might be? They aren't quite finished yet.
I shld hve taken a pic of the kids faces when I showed them what i had done (umm...i made the patterns up myself, perhaps that explains a lot!)
Kids hve settled back in to school life. I had my first scripture class this morning, got about 25 kids, yrs 1&2.
Life goes on :)

Sew On...&...Sew Forth

Finished my last sewing projects this week.
I would like to introduce you to the two owls & their friend Darcy.
The owl with button eyes is Horace & his sister Gertrude has the lovely green eyes. Darcy has a hair cut very similar to Phil's (hehehe). I used brown felt for his hair and he has lovely lightly tanned skin.
Now that school's back & sports activities are back afterschool I'm managing to keep sane, just!!!!!!
