?halloween?

I asked my yr 1-2 ( 7-8yrs) scripture class this morning about halloween, what is it about? "It's when we celebrate the devil" was a very serious response from one little girl. (sigh!!!) I just don't get halloween?!!!!

Danzzo's Reconciliation

Daniel received the sacrament of Reconciliation last night. He looked very handsome in his suit & tie. I suggested he might like to leave the tie off but no he insisted!!!! We came home after & had a late dinner & a yummy home baked chocolate mud cake (no packet mix) to celebrate. I will post a pic soon so you can all see how cool he looked.

Obsidian & Soul

splintered shards of obsidian jaggered, sharp beautiful in it's starkness complex in it's brokenness breathe taking beauty just the same hanging down with silvery light glinting just by being there what is this beauty I now see within an ocean of fragrant pink roses rising & falling on the gentlest of swells such a delicate sight to breathe in know wonder it dwells in the protectiveness of seemingly lifeless obsidian such beauty within the splintered shards, jaggered & sharp brokenness as a blessing who would have thought delicate & strong not weakness at all together they live & breathe obsidian & soul

Getting the hang of this I think.

The cat is sick she has a cold (?). We've been to the vets & I'm hving oh so much fun trying to get tablets & liquid stuff into her, my hands look like a pin cushion! I hope she gets better otherwise another visit to the vets. sigh!
